（中央社記者黃兆平紐約15日專電）專長水墨描線的台灣旅美插畫新銳黃昱銘，為美國NBA職籃官方雜誌「Hoop」繪製2016－2017年刊封面，他是第一位替NBA年刊彩繪的台灣插畫家。
剛出刊的美國NBA職籃「Hoop」年刊雜誌，封面上有12位家喻戶曉的職籃球星，包括克里夫蘭騎士球星「小皇帝」詹姆斯（LeBron James）、勇士隊超級巨星柯瑞（Stephen Curry）及「KD」杜蘭特（Kevin Durant），還有火箭隊明星後衛哈登（James Harden）等。
透過黃昱銘融合水墨描線及西方色彩的創作元素，12位職籃球星個個栩栩如『貸款教學』車貸銀行利率生，非常寫實且生動。籃網台裔球星林書豪之前效力夏洛特黃蜂時，黃昱銘也曾很有特色地描繪豪小子的特質。
黃昱銘畢業於台北市立大學視覺藝術系，來美取得薩凡納藝術設計學院（Savannah College of Arts andDesign）插畫創作碩士，目前為專職插畫師，也是美音樂權威雜誌「告示牌」（Billboard Magazine）合約插畫師之一。
黃昱銘的作品常探究社會事件背後意涵，而畫出深入淺出又能引起共鳴的故事一直是他創作的理想。其作品曾獲第48屆貝爾格勒金筆獎暨13屆國際插畫雙年展、美國Creative Quarterly 43 及 Hiii 插畫大獎等評審肯定。2015年也曾代表台灣新銳插畫師，在駐紐約台北經文處參展。1051216
